On August 18th, 2025, the Pre-primary Wing of Soundarya Central School joyfully celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with great devotion and enthusiasm. The celebration beautifully captured the spirit of Lord Krishna’s birth through dance and vibrant cultural activities. Senior kindergarten students actively participated in a delightful Krishna Janmashtami dance, students dressed in colourful attire representing Radha and Krishna, which created a festive atmosphere filled with joy and excitement.
Adding to the spirit of the day, the pre-primary wing celebrated Sibling’s Day to emphasise the value of love, care, and bonding between brothers and sisters just like Krishna, Subhadra and Balram. Students joyfully posed for photographs with their siblings, cherishing the moments of togetherness and affection. A small interaction session was also held where the value of siblings was highlighted in a simple and child-friendly manner, making the students understand the importance of love, sharing, and support within a family.
To make the day even more engaging, a Krishna Janmashtami colouring activity was organized where students expressed their creativity by colouring pictures of Krishna, pots, and flutes. Along with this, a few fun-filled sports activities were conducted for the students and their siblings, adding cheer to the celebration.
