Guidelines

  • Parents are an integral part of the school and the school expects them to co-operate in enforcing all the guidelines that will benefit the child and assist in the smooth functioning of the school.
  • The school diary serves as a bridge between teachers, students and parents. Parents are requested to sign the remarks written by teachers in the school diary. Duly sign in the ‘Record of Circulars’ page in the diary when the circular is sent.
  • Please take care that your ward does not carry a mobile phone to school. In case of emergencies the school land line to be used by students.
  • The school insists on strict punctuality, regular attendance, appropriate regulation regarding uniform, dress code , good grooming and fidelity to study and work assignments. Absence from school for merely social functions is discouraged.
  • Parents or guardians are not allowed to meet students or the teachers during class hours. However, they can meet the Principal, coordinators and teachers between 3.00 to 4.00 p.m. on Mondays and 12: 30 pm to 1: 00 pm on Saturdays
  • Parents or guardians are not permitted to pick their child during the school hours for any reason. Parent’s entry to the classrooms during school hours is strictly prohibited. In case of an emergency or sickness, parents are requested to report at the front office. A permission slip/ gate pass is then sent by the office to the Principal/Coordinator/Class teacher. The child will be brought to the front office by the support staff along with the gate pass. The gate pass duly signed by the class teacher needs to be produced to the security person at the gate.
  • No student or staff member will be called to attend phone call during school hours. In case of urgency, however, messages received on the phone will be conveyed.
  • Please ensure that your children do not come to school wearing gold bangles, chains, finger rings, showy ear-rings or any other costly ornaments.
  • Requested not to send the students infected with Measles, Mumps, Chickenpox or any other infectious diseases to school till they are free from such infection.
  • Confidential communication must be done in sealed envelopes only.
  • Parents are requested to send the lunch or any other school activity related material along with the student. Any packet sent later will not be accepted due to security reasons.
  • The school authority doesn’t hold any responsibility for the conduct of the student outside the school premises. It however takes cognizance of any serious misconduct committed outside its premises and any serious charges shall be substantiated.
  • Students are asked to maintain discipline in the school van. Bus facilities will be withdrawn in case of in disciplinary activities.
  • Students are not allowed to go to a relative’s/friend’s house from school.

Guidelines

  • Attendance of students is compulsory on the school reopening day.
  • Students should be in school premises by 8:20am. School gates will be closed by 8:30 am. Students who report late to school will be sent back home.
  • No child will be allowed to avail half day leave during the school hours except in case of emergency.
  • 100% attendance badge is awarded to the students for being regular to the school. Children availing half a day leave or early return permissions are not eligible for a badge.
  • Take pride in our school.
  • Be in your assigned seat/location, ready to work.
  • Bring paper, pencils, books and all necessary supplies every day.
  • Listen to the teacher / adult.
  • Put your hand up if you want to speak / answer.
  • Take care of your belongings
  • Finish your work on time.
  • Keep the classroom tidy.
  • Line up quietly and smartly.
  • Rude gestures, cruel teasing or put-downs are prohibited

The policy is implemented to encourage students to report school on time, wear neat and proper uniform and abide by school discipline. If a student reports late to school at 8: 35 am or late, for untidy, improper uniform the disciplinary action will be as follows.

  • First & second Time: Diary Note
  • Third Time: Strict warning.
  • Fourth Time: Fine of Rs.100.
  • Fifth Time: Back to home.

The home work includes the task /assignments to be done by the students at home and may include:

  • Practice questions meant for reinforcement of learning, enhancement of skills.
  • Math H.W daily to develop problem solving skill.
  • Two writing home assignments daily.
  • Two reading assignments to encourage reading skill.
  • Students must stay back if their works are incomplete.
  • Alternative activities based on CBSE guidelines to extend class learning at home.
  • He/she may apply for leave only when it is essential. The leave letter must be submitted to the class teacher well in advance.
  • Under medical grounds a medical certificate must be furnished if the period of leave exceeds 7days.
  • Students must submit leave letter for every single leave taken without fail.
  • If they do not submit leave letter it will be considered as disobedience.
  • Students who want to take more than 2 days leave for personal purpose must take advance permission from Principal/In charge.
  • A medical certificate must be furnished if the period of leave exceeds 7 days in case of absence on medical ground.
  • Students should wear the prescribed school uniform on all school days including Saturdays.
  • Students should not be dressed in casuals on their birthdays.
  • Boys: Advised not to wear any metal/stone studs, bracelets and neck chains. These materials are strictly prohibited in the school campus.
  • Girls: It is advised not to wear wrist bands, watches, bracelets, coloured bands, coloured clips, long earrings and nail polish.
  • Girls should to wear double plates, black bands, black hair clips and light-colored studs only.
  • Students are not allowed to purchase food/Snacks from Canteen.
  • Students are not allowed to bring two-wheelers to school. Expensive and fancy electronic gadgets (cell phones, calculators, music devices, tablets etc.) cannot be brought to school. Stylish haircuts are not permitted.
  • The school authorities have the right to search the bags of the students at any time, without any prior notice. Cell phones, Cameras, books and other articles brought to school without authorization will be confiscated and shall not be returned to the owner.
  • Students are responsible for the safe custody of their own books and belongings. Each article should be marked with the student’s name
  • Every student is obliged to take part in the co-curricular Activities.
  • He /she should submit the assignment/projects on regular basis.
  • Action will be taken on account of use of abusive language by a student.
  • Taking care of the school property is the responsibility of every individual at the school. Any kind of damage to the school furniture, scribbling or drawing on the walls should be reported to the class teacher. Recovery for any damage caused will be made from the concerned student.
  • Lending / borrowing of expensive articles are strictly prohibited. Purchasing or selling of goods is not permitted amongst students.
  • A warning letter will be issued to the students who use unfair means during exam. Repetition of the same will result in dismissal of the child/ children.
  • Students are expected to move in the corridors and on the stairs in a disciplined order with perfect silence.
  • The objective of assessment is to bring continuous improvement in the performance of learner through constant diagnosis of gaps and difficulties in learning. There is no- pass /fail criteria for grades I-VIII based on terminal examination. Grade IX & X students must secure minimum 33% of marks in all subjects to be promoted to next class.
  • No pupil can absent herself/himself from an examination until a prior permission is approved by the Principal. In case of illness, a medical certificate should be submitted as early as possible before the closure of the session ending examination. In this case promotion will be decided based on academic record.
  • Progress reports will be issued after Annual examination.

Menu For good Health

To inculcate healthy eating habits in children, parents are requested to send the food items for snack break as per the schedule given below. Make sure that your child/children are not allergic to any of the foods suggested in the below given table. Parents may also opt for other food items which are nutritious.
