Our school organized an awareness program on “Digital Intelligence: Living Safely and Responsibly in the AI Era” on 18th October to educate grade 8 students about the ethical and responsible use of technology in today’s rapidly advancing digital world. The session aimed to help students understand how Artificial Intelligence (AI) influences their daily lives and how to navigate the digital space wisely.
The event began with an introductory speech emphasizing the growing role of AI in education, communication, and everyday decision-making. A guest expert addressed the students, explaining concepts such as digital literacy, data privacy, cyber safety, cyber ethics and AI ethics. The speaker also spoke about the importance of critical thinking, online responsibility, and the need to protect one’s digital identity.
Interactive discussions helped students relate to the topic better. The importance of distinguishing between real and fake information generated by AI was also highlighted.
The session was both informative and thought-provoking, empowering students to live safely and responsibly in the AI-driven era.
