Soundarya Central School celebrated the 70th Karnataka Rajyotsava with great enthusiasm. The programme began with flag hoisting, lamp lighting, and floral tribute to Goddess Bhuvaneshwari. Chief guest Sri Lingaraju A. Kalehnahalli, President of Dasarahalli Kannada Sahitya Parishat, addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of preserving Kannada language and culture.
Cultural performances such as welcome dance, group singing, Kannada speech, folk dance, and fancy-dress presentations showcased Karnataka’s vibrant traditions. The event concluded with a message to uphold the pride of Kannada and preserve the state’s rich heritage. The celebration was a success with the support of teachers, students, and the school management.
