Our SCS students explored the wonders of science at the prestigious Raman Research Institute this National Science Day!
Soundarya Central School proudly celebrated National Science Day (February 28, 2026) with an inspiring educational visit to the Raman Research Institute (RRI), Bengaluru for our Grade 6–8 students. Honouring the legacy of Sir C.V. Raman, students experienced the fascinating world of physics and the groundbreaking Raman Effect, which earned India its first Nobel Prize in Science.
Highlights of the Day:
Scientific Insights: Students listened to motivating speeches by RRI scientists, who encouraged them to stay curious and embrace scientific thinking in everyday life. Interactive Learning: From exploring complex models of light and space to seeing physics in action, the exhibits made science simple and fun.Museum Wonders: A trip through the crystal and stone museum, followed by a fascinating look at biodiversity in the butterfly and bird gallery.
SCS Pride: Our students actively participated in a high-energy Quiz Competition, showcasing their knowledge and confidence!
