They have access to a wide range of tools, 3D printers, and cutting-edge robotics kits to turn their ideas into tangible projects.Our lab is a place for students to dive into the fundamentals of robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence. Equipped with modern kits and coding platforms, they learn to design, build, and program robots, developing crucial 21st-century skills that will prepare them for the future.

Our Creative & Performing Arts Hub

At Soundarya Central School, we believe in nurturing every aspect of a student’s potential. Our dedicated creative arts spaces provide the perfect environment for self-expression, skill development, and collaboration.

Dance Floor

Our spacious and well-lit dance floor is where students explore classical, contemporary, and modern dance forms. Through rhythm and movement, they learn to express emotions, build confidence, and stay physically fit.

Music Studio

This creative space is equipped with both classical and modern instruments. From vocal training to instrumental practice, the studio is a place where students can nurture their musical talents, inspire harmony, and learn the value of teamwork.

Art Studio

A place for students to unleash their creativity. Here, they can explore their imagination through drawing, painting, sculpting, and more, all while developing new skills and building a portfolio of their work

The assessment structure and examination for classes 6 to 8 comprises Annual Exam as explained below.

Internal Assessment 20 marks

a) Paper Pen test(5M)

  • Three Periodic tests will be conducted
  • The average of best two periodic tests will be considered

b) Multiple Assessment (5M)
strategies to be used. (Quizzes, oral test, concept map, exit cards, visual expression, etc.)

c)Portfolio Assessment (5M)
Portfolio (Class work plus peer assessment, self -assessment, achievements of student in the subject, reflections, narrations, journals, etc.

d)Sub Enrichment (5 M)

Yearly Exam

Written exam for 80 marks with syllabus coverage as below:

Class VI: 10% of 1st term covering significant topics +entire syllabus of 2nd term

Class VII: 20% of 1st term covering significant topics + entire syllabus of 2nd term

Class VIII: 30% of 1st term covering significant topics + entire syllabus of 2nd term

Co-Scholastic Area

Grade VI to VIII

The school promotes Co-curricular activities for the holistic development of the students. It will be graded on a 3-point scale (A to C). The aspect of regularity, active participation, output, and teamwork will be the criteria for grading in the Co-Scholastic areas such as Work education, art, and craft, physical education, and discipline.
