Enrichment Programme

National Cadet Corps (NCC):
Our NCC program instills a sense of discipline, patriotism, and social responsibility. It provides a structured environment for character building and leadership development.The 40 Karnataka Battalion NCC has been introduced in our institution. This initiative provides students with valuable opportunities for discipline, leadership development, and national service.
Young Indian Parliament (YIP):
The YiP is a national initiative designed to foster civic participation and leadership skills among students. Through parliamentary simulations, debates, and policy discussions, students develop critical thinking, public speaking, and analytical skills.
TiE program
As part of the Global TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) program, we foster the next generation of business leaders. This unique learning environment allows high school students to build resilience, collaborate with peers, and create innovative pathways towards their personal and professional goals.
Model United Nations (MUN)
Our MUN simulations engage students in diplomacy and global issues. This is an ideal platform for students to enhance their public speaking and communication skills, and develop leadership qualities through research, debates, and problem-solving exercises.
Career Guidance Programme
We provide comprehensive career and stream guidance to help students make informed decisions about their future.

Public Speaking Program
At Soundarya Central School, we believe that confident communication is a fundamental skill for life. That’s why we are proud to partner with SkillSphere Education, a nationally recognized organization dedicated to empowering students with essential skills.
Founded in 2012, SkillSphere has a proven track record of helping over 300,000 students across India and the Middle East excel in public speaking, Model United Nations (MUNs), and soft skills development.
Through this collaboration, our Grade 3 students will participate in a specially designed Public Speaking Program. This initiative goes beyond traditional classroom learning to nurture confidence, creativity, and effective communication, helping them grow into responsible global citizens.

Penumbra Shadow Play Kit – Storytelling for Social Emotional Growth :
The Penumbra Shadow Play Kit is a powerful tool that transforms storytelling into a structured learning experience for Grade I & II students. Research shows that storytelling fosters Social Emotional Learning (SEL) by helping children identify emotions, build empathy, and strengthen communication skills.
Through designing characters, crafting scenes, and performing with light and shadow, children engage in collaborative problem-solving and creative expression. This process enhances self-awareness, emotional regulation, and perspective-taking – core SEL competencies.
By combining play, art, and performance, the Penumbra Shadow Play Kit nurtures both imagination and emotional intelligence, supporting children’s holistic development and preparing them for lifelong interpersonal success.
