Capacity Building Programme – Classroom Management

“A well-managed classroom is the cornerstone of effective teaching and joyful learning.”
A Capacity Building Programme on Classroom Management was organized by the Centre of Excellence, CBSE, at Soundarya Central School on 24th and 25th Septem to enhance teachers’ skills in creating effective and student-friendly classrooms.

The sessions were conducted by the resource persons Mrs. Madhushree and Mrs. Nirmala Dwivedi. They focused on key aspects such as understanding classroom management, components of effective management, VARK learning styles, instructional planning, and the importance of physical arrangement in classrooms.

Teachers were also trained in strategies for time management, adopting appropriate teaching and management styles, and framing classroom rules, procedures, and routines. The programme further highlighted the use of rewards and consequences for student behavior, the importance of interpersonal relationships, and effective techniques for managing large classes.

Overall, the programme provided teachers with practical insights and modern techniques to make classrooms more organized, inclusive, and engaging for learners.
