The preparatory stage of Soundarya Central School celebrated Children’s Day and Kannada Rajyotsava on the 15th of November, 2023, with great festive fervour, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and formation of Karnataka.
The teachers made the occasion memorable for the children with a special assembly. The children were treated to a harmonious medley of songs by teachers followed by a colorful dance performance by grade 3 to 5 students.
The children came dressed in casual dresses. The highlight of the day was a puppet show by Ms. Lakshmi, who mesmerized the children with her well-modulated voice and hand puppets which made the story’s characters come alive. It was an interactive and fun learning session.
It was a day full of joy and laughter for the students. The day ended with a memorable gift which had been given with love and affection by their class teachers.
