The Day 6 session of the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Program 2025–2026 was held on 12th August 2025, conducted by Mr. Chandrashekar Krishnamurthy – Co-Founder, Leadership Team Advisory, Board Members Advisory, Mentor, TiE Chartered Member, Startup Adviser, and Executive Search Expert with expanded expertise to the US & Europe.
The session, titled “Startup Math”, introduced students to the essential numbers behind building and sustaining a business. Mr. Chandrashekar explained how to analyze costs, revenue models, break-even points, and key financial indicators critical to a startup’s success. He also highlighted the importance of tracking customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and cash flow management in the early stages of a venture.
Through practical examples and interactive exercises, students learned how to approach business decisions with a data-driven mindset, ensuring that creativity is backed by financial feasibility. The session emphasized that in entrepreneurship, understanding the numbers is as important as having the vision.
