On 1st June, 2024 an Orientation Programme was organised at Soundarya Central School to provide parents with essential information about the school’s policies, procedures, curriculum, and extracurricular activities. It allowed parents to familiarise themselves with the school’s environment and meet key faculty members.
The session commenced with a warm welcome, invocation song and lamp-lighting ceremony followed by the principal’s address to the parents highlighting the key features of the school. It was followed by the academic in charge Mrs. Shreekala P Vijayan addressing the parents with grade 1 & 2 key features including the communication and do’s and don’ts to be followed. Our trustee member Dr. Prateeksha highlighted the inquiry-based curriculum to the parents helping them understand our teaching philosophy. The session ended with the teachers of grade 1& 2 introducing themselves and their teaching strategies reassuring parents that their child is in good hands. The collaborative need to address the children’s educational needs was put forward to the parents for a mutually rewarding upcoming academic year.
