On August 1, 2025, a Leadership Workshop titled “Inspiring and Motivating Students” was held at Ocarina, exclusively for the Student Council members, with the objective of motivating them and enhancing their leadership qualities, organized by the IT Department, and led by the esteemed speaker Mr. S. Ramlal, a renowned trainer and Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) recognized by Toastmasters International, U.S.A. The session was honoured by the presence of our respected Principal Mrs. Renuka Devi and Vice Principal Mrs. Ramya Krishna, whose support has always been a pillar of strength. Mr. S. Ramlal, with vast experience in training youth and professionals across institutions, shared valuable insights on leadership and communication. His expertise spans areas such as public speaking, memory development, time and stress management, self-esteem, assertiveness, and human relations. Throughout the workshop, he emphasized that true leadership involves responsibility, discipline, empathy, humility, teamwork, punctuality, and the ability to empower and guide others. He also shared powerful tips on public speaking—how to overcome stage fear, use effective body language, facial expressions, and speak fluently and confidently in English. The interactive session included a Tangram puzzle-based team-building activity, which demonstrated the importance of collaboration and coordination. Student council members, including the Head Boy and Head Girl, played an active role in the workshop, encouraging participation and setting a strong example of leadership in action. The workshop left a deep impact on all participants, motivating them to become confident speakers and responsible leaders. The school expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. S. Ramlal for his time and inspiration, and to the school leadership and IT Department for making such a meaningful event possible.
