Soundarya Central School celebrated Annual day “Mathrubhumi-The Legacy of India” on 17th December with great grandeur.The programme commenced with the auspicious light lamping by the chief guest Mr Kiran ,Retired Deputy director MDA ISRO and management along with Principal,Coordinators and teachers.
The event started with a delightful invocation song,welcome address and welcome dance. Principal,Mrs Renuka Devi presented the annual report which made everyone feel proud of their association with the school. The Chief Guest Mr Kiran, encouraged the students and parents through his enlightening words. Prizes were distributed for students and teachers in various fields like academics, sports, national achievements, cultural achievements, best leadership skills, etc.
The evening progressed through mesmerizing dance performances and songs by students from grade 3 to 12.The breath taking and magnificient performances related to the culture and tradition which depicted the folk dances of Karnataka,classical dances of India and presentation related to Indian army,ISRO,Make in India,Digital India left the audience spellbound and craving for more.
At the end ,management and principal applauded the efforts of teachers,students and choreographers for the grand success. This was followed by the National Anthem as a tribute to our nation.
