The Preparatory Wing of Soundarya Central School celebrated National Mathematics Day with an inspiring special assembly that showcased the talents of students from Grades 3, 4, and 5.
The programme opened with a Math Thought, an Amazing Math Fact, and Math Vocabulary, setting a perfect mathematical theme for the day.
Grade 3 students presented a lively Math Song highlighting the importance of mathematics and numbers in our daily life.
Grade 4 students delivered an informative presentation on the importance of National Mathematics Day, along with contributions of Indian mathematicians.
The highlight of the morning was the Grade 5 role play, where students confidently portrayed great mathematicians such as Srinivasa Ramanujan, Aryabhata, Shakuntala Devi, and Bhaskaracharya, bringing their remarkable achievements to life.
Beautiful and creative math charts prepared by the children were also displayed, adding colour and creativity to the celebration.
The assembly successfully encouraged curiosity, appreciation, and love for mathematics among all students.
