National Science Day

“Celebrating Science: Empowering Minds, Inspiring Innovations”
Grade 3 to 7 students of Soundarya Central School enthusiastically observed National Science Day on February 29th, 2024, under the theme “Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat.” The occasion was marked by a diverse array of engaging activities, including invigorating Invocation dance by grade 3, insightful speeches by grade 4, and captivating role-plays by grade 5. Noteworthy was the participation of grade 6 and 7 students, who brought to life the legacies of eminent scientists( Jagadish Chandra Bose, Sir C V Raman, Dr. Annamani, Kadambni Ganguly, Janaki Ammal, Sir. Issac Newton, Marie Currie, Michael Faraday) through immersive role-play performances.
A quiz centred on National Science Day tested the students’ knowledge, fostering healthy competition and recognizing excellence. Prizes were distributed to the winners, heightening the excitement of the day.
This commemoration served as a platform to honor the invaluable contributions of scientists and inspire the young minds to delve deeper into the wonders of science. National Science Day celebration not only celebrated past achievements but also ignited a spark of curiosity and innovation, paving the way for a future propelled by scientific inquiry and technological advancement.
