The Pre-Primary corridor of Soundarya Central School buzzed with energy as 310 parents joined the first Parent Orientation Program of the academic year. The event began with a warm welcome by Anitha Ma’am. A ceremonial lamp lighting brought together the leadership team, teachers, and parent representatives to mark the beginning of a collaborative journey. This was followed by an inspiring address by Principal Renuka Ma’am, who highlighted the school’s achievements and vision. The Vice Principal shared the importance of parent engagement and expectations for strengthening the child’s growth through home-school partnership.Â
Mrs. Shahnaz Khayyum , Pre-Primary Coordinator, introduced the Montessori and Kindergarten methodologies, daily routines, school protocols, and the importance of environmental and parental support in a child’s development. Teaching teams were introduced, and parents were given an opportunity to ask questions and share suggestions. Dedicated help desks for uniforms, books, and tech support ensured all parent queries were addressed. After light refreshments, parents explored classrooms and got a glimpse of the learning materials and interactive methods their children will experience. The session concluded at 1:30 PM with heartfelt feedback from parents who appreciated the transparency, preparation, and warmth of the orientation. It was truly a day of connection, understanding, and collaboration
