Soundarya Central School proudly celebrated its Annual Sports Meet for the academic year 2025–26, showcasing remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and exemplary sportsmanship among students from Montessori to Grade XII.
The Annual Sports Meet, held on 2nd January 2026, witnessed vibrant participation from students across all grades. The celebrations began with a warm welcome, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and an invocation prayer, setting a positive and energetic tone for the programme.
The Principal, Mrs. Renuka Devi, delivered an inspiring address highlighting the importance of sports in character building, resilience, and holistic development. This was followed by the official declaration of the meet by the Vice Principal, Mrs. Ramya Krishna.
The torch-lighting ceremony and final running races further elevated the spirit of the event, drawing enthusiastic cheers from the audience. Students participated wholeheartedly in a wide range of events, including fun races, basketball, football, swimming, skating, yoga, and taekwondo, showcasing confidence, determination, and teamwork.
The celebrations concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners were honoured with medals and certificates. The event created cherished memories and inspired students to continue striving for excellence, both on the field and beyond.
