Soundarya Power Dad Cricket League | 2025–26
“Celebrating Sports, Teamwork, and Togetherness”
Soundarya Central School proudly hosted the Soundarya Power Dad Cricket League for the academic year 2025–26, fostering sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and a strong parent–school partnership. Fathers from pre primary and preparatory stage participated with great zeal, forming nine teams that showcased excellent team spirit and fair play throughout the league. The teams were:
Great Heroes (Mahaveera)
Kridhaveer (Sports Hero)
Simhabhalam (Strength of Lions)
Vajrasena( Thunderbolt army)
Jayasena (Victorious Army)
Agnishakthi (Power of Fire)
Viraprahara (Heroic Strikers)
Brave Warriors(Suraveerah)
Ranadhirah( Courageous fighters)
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, setting the tone for a day dedicated to sportsmanship and healthy competition. This was followed by the introduction of teams and a briefing on the match rules. Our Vice Principal, Ms. Ramya Krishna, warmly welcomed the gathering, while the preparatory stage coordinator, Ms.Veena Sunil, and the pre primary coordinator, Ms. Shahnaz Praveen, extended their best wishes to the participants. Adding to the excitement of the event, our esteemed CEO, Mr. Keertan Kumar, officially inaugurated the match and actively participated as a team member, exemplifying leadership, enthusiasm, and the true spirit of the game. Our esteemed Chairman, Mr. Soundarya P. Manjappa, and Managing Director, Ms. Sunitha P. Manjappa, also witnessed the event and conveyed their best wishes to all the participants.
The matches witnessed energetic performances, healthy competition, and exemplary sportsmanship, making the league a memorable and engaging experience. Outstanding individual performances were recognised: Mr. Shivakumar from Kridhaveer was awarded Man of the Match, Mr. Sudheer Shetty from Great Heroes (Mahaveera) received the Best Batsman award, and Mr. Yogesh from Kridhaveer was honoured as the Best Bowler of the Day.
In the team standings, Kridhaveer (Sports Hero) emerged as the Winner, Great Heroes (Mahaveera) secured the 1st Runner-Up position, and Agnishakthi (Power of Fire) bagged the 2nd Runner-Up position, reflecting remarkable coordination, determination, and competitive spirit among all teams.
The event concluded on a high note, strengthening camaraderie among parents and reinforcing Soundarya Central School’s commitment to holistic community engagement through sports.

Victory Splash Making waves at the state level!
We are delighted to share the outstanding achievement of Chirag P. Patil, Grade VI F, Soundarya Central School, who delivered an exceptional performance at the Karnataka State Level Non-Medalist Swimming Meet, held on 22nd November 2025.
Achievements (Group–3 Boys):
• First Position – 50m Freestyle
• First Position – 50m Backstroke
• Second Position – 100m Freestyle
• Second Position – 200m Freestyle Relay
Chirag’s remarkable speed, discipline, and strong swimming skills were highly appreciated at the state level. His dedication and perseverance have brought great pride to the school, inspiring fellow students to pursue excellence in sports.
