Soundarya Central School successfully conducted its Student Council Elections for the academic year 2026–27 across the Preparatory, Middle, and Secondary stages. The event provided students with a practical experience in democracy, leadership, and responsible decision-making.
Candidates across all stages enthusiastically campaigned for various house positions, demonstrating their commitment to serving the school community.
Stage-Wise Highlights
- Preparatory Stage (Grade V): Young learners took their first steps into student governance, contesting for house leadership roles. To ensure a clean and transparent process, voting was securely conducted digitally using Google Forms.
- Middle Stage (Grades VI–VIII): Exhibiting growing civic maturity, students participated in digital voting while candidates focused their campaigns on peer mentorship, discipline, and building house spirit.
- Secondary Stage (Grades IX–X): The senior wing combined democracy with technological innovation. Likith C. M. of Grade IX F custom-developed a digital voting web application that provided a highly secure and seamless voting experience for the senior electorate.
