Soundarya Central School

World Mental Health Day

Soundarya Central School reinforced its commitment to student well-being with two events in October. The Mental Health Club organized an exhibition on October 10th featuring student-prepared charts and interactive displays on themes such as stress management and coping skills, aiming to promote emotional balance and positive psychological health. Additionally, on October 16th, 2025, the school counselors organized a Mental Health Awareness Assembly for students of Grades 8 to 12. This program included a speech by Youth Champion Hasini (Grade 10-B) on the World Mental Health Day theme, a skit presented by the Mental Health Club on adolescent challenges, and an oath-taking ceremony led by Keerthi (Grade 10-C). Throughout the assembly, all students and staff wore green ribbons as a symbol of mental health awareness, collectively emphasizing that compassion and awareness are vital for building a healthier and happier school community.
