On 3rd August 2025, our school participated in Phase 1 of Youth Udyami 2026, organized by IIM Bangalore under the Prayaas initiative. Out of 50 schools selected from across the country, two teams with 6 students from our school had the opportunity to present our innovative business idea aimed at solving various problems existing in today’s world. Team 1- Groot By Aradhana D Shanbhag, Rachana G Gowda & Rajamani V. Team-2 Cogniplay By Hasti Patel, Palash Gaur & Abhay Surya. The competition provided a platform for young entrepreneurs to pitch their solutions and receive valuable feedback from experienced mentors and industry experts. Our team presented a solution that aimed at Sustainability, highlighting its feasibility, impact, and scalability. The judges appreciated our clear articulation of the problem and innovative approach, while also advising us to strengthen our market research and refine the financial aspects of our business model. The competition helped us understand the importance of structured pitching, teamwork under time constraints, and the need for data-driven validation of ideas. Qualifying for the next phase, we now plan to enhance our project with detailed research, prototype development, and mentorship support from IIM Bangalore. The Phase 1 experience has been immensely enriching, providing us with practical insights into entrepreneurship and motivating us to further improve as we move ahead in the competition. We are proud to share that one of our teams COGNIPLAY has been selected to advance to the next phase of Youth Udyami 2026. Their innovative idea, strong presentation, and clear understanding of the problem statement stood out among the 50 participating schools. This selection is a testament to their hard work, creativity, and the valuable feedback they received during Phase 1. The team will now work closely with mentors from IIM Bangalore to further develop their project for the upcoming rounds.
