Middle Stage
Grade VI To VIII
Middle school offers an expanded curriculum to cater to the growing abilities of children in assimilating information and grasping abstract ideas. The curriculum mainly emphasizes making children creative, talented, caring, and compassionate. Middle school programme further focusses on strengthening the skills and competencies of the children, through comprehensive and innovative learning abilities.
The curriculum also emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach, enabling students to understand the connectivity between various subjects. During this phase of learning, students are exposed to research-based projects, model making, etc. to gain hands-on experience. Students’ communication skills are nurtured through well-designed activities like debates, group discussions, elocution, drama, skits, role play, etc. The curriculum provides opportunities for field trips and educational excursions for the students so that extended learning takes place beyond the classroom to acquire social and cultural skills.
