Scholastic Area
The assessment structure and examination for classes 9 to 10 comprise of two terms i.e. Term – 1 & Term – 2 as explained below.
The syllabus for the Academic session 2021-22 will be divided into 2 terms following a systematic approach looking into the interconnectivity of concepts and topics by the Subject Experts. Examinations are conducted at the end of each term based on the bifurcated syllabus.
Internal Assessment will be carried out as per the existing scheme across the year. Assessments are done twice, and will contribute equally in overall assessment .

Co-Scholastic Area
(Grade IX - X)
School promotes Co-curricular activities for the holistic development of the student. It will be graded on a 5-point scale (A to E) for Grades IX and X. The aspect of regularity, sincere participation, output and teamwork will be the criteria for grading in the Co-Scholastic areas such as Work education, art and craft, physical education and discipline.

2. | Subjects with Project Work, Assessment of Listening and Speaking Skills | 1.Subjects with Project Work of 20 marks: Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, History, Political Science, Sociology, Legal Studies There would be only ONE project for the session.The project work would be divided into two parts i.e. Term I (10 marks) and Term II (10 marks) for the purpose of assessment. Pass Criteria
A candidate will be eligible to get the Pass Certificate of the Board, if he/she gets a grade higher than E in all subjects of internal assessment unless he/she is exempted. Failing this, result of the external examination will be withheld but not for a period of more than one year.
In order to be declared as having passed the examination, a candidate shall obtain a grade higher than E (i.e. at least 33% marks) in all the five subjects of external examination in the main or at the compartmental examinations.
