Sports Facilities
In keeping with the Soundarya tradition of achieving excellence in sports, we at SCS provide ample opportunities to the child to pursue the sports career. Facilities include basketball court, running tracks, skating rink, table tennis etc. Besides our regular staff we also have visiting instructors and coaches, who are experts in their area of sport to train our kids for matches within the school and also compete in inter school matches. Regular exercise, drill, training in March past is an important feature.

Swimming
Swimming is the best form of exercise for all age groups that keeps them physically healthy. Swimming is a part of the school curriculum and children derive manifold benefits. Swimming builds strength and endurance, tones muscles, helps develop water safety and survival skills and also improves balance and coordination.

Basket Ball
Basketball is a great sport for students to play! Team sports are a great way to help kids cope with and relieve stress on many levels. Playing basketball helps to improve motor skills and coordination, boosts self-image, reduces stress and improves sleeping habits.
It Strengthens the body, develops coordination, increases physical fitness, encourages healthy living habits, teaches teamwork, sportsmanship, personal responsibility, develops time management and organizational skills.
Experienced and professional coaches train students to learn the nuances and skills.

Skating
Skating offers great exercise to build strong muscles and helps maintain healthy weight.
We train our students in roller skating. It provides a complete aerobic workout and involves all of the body's muscles, especially the heart. Roller skating is equivalent to jogging in terms of health benefits and caloric consumption, reduction of body fat, and leg strength development.

Play Ground
Sports and Games play an important role in the growth of children. It forms an integral part of the school curriculum for which a wide range of facilities are available. Students are encouraged to participate in various games. The school has developed infrastructure that allow students to play variety of sports from team games to individual sports.

Yoga
Yoga and physical education contribute to not merely the physical development of the child but have a positive impact on psychosocial and mental development as well. Yoga periods are included in regular class time table so that students come up with the concerns related to the process of growing up, counter stress and strains and cope up with examination stress.
